Pixelh8 Gameboy Cartridge Now Available

"The Gameboy cartridge is now available to buy!!!, shipment of them won't be at earliest until the 14/10/07 however to ensure you are able to purchase your reservation we have decided to allow for purchases now.
There is only 100 carts anyone not purchased their reservation by the 14/10/07 will loose their reservation and will be sold to one of the people on standby (who will be drawn out of a hat), demand is high and to help us process everyone's cartridges, we have decided to start selling them early, to get them out to you as soon as possible.

  1. Interesting. I'll probably regret it once it's sold out, but I don't give my nanoloop carts enough 8-bit love to justify the crappo US/UK exchange rate.

    Similarly, has anyone ever wandered down the Gameboy/MIDI rabbit hole, and can recommend a MIDI cable kit for the gameboy? I wanna trigger its internal sounds externally, and fairly certain the one available through nanoloop only does sync and not note on/off, etc.

  2. Yeah I agree. Looks pretty cool, but the exchange rate is a killer for us here in the states. It seems pretty reasonably priced though. Maybe I'll pick up a couple anyway, if I don't like it I can always sell it on ebay for 5 times what I paid! LOL

  3. I seem to recall that the LSDJ cart could be controlled via MIDI. I don't know if the cable was ever commercially available.

  4. Oliver, the guy that designed nanlopp used to sell a midi sync cable a while back. I have no idea if he still does though. Check the nanoloop site.
