GearMedia Moogerfooger Patchbay concept... GiMP

via Mike Beard / GearMedia, who is interested in partnering with someone to manufacture and distribute these.

"A modular 19" rack design similar to the rack mounted moogerfoogers. Each model would be able to be purchased separately and mounted above its Moogerfooger counterpart for simpler more modular style patching or alternatively, keep the MF on the floor and use a custom snake to connect to the rack. Maybe even a eurorack style with 1/8" on the front."

  1. I don't know, you still need to tweak the knobs so it's just a better labeled visually easier to remember patchbay that probably costs much more than a stock one. What the Moogerfoogers need is a 100% modular compact option. Get more than 3 into 5U and have the jacks on front. Add the couple missing pieces and have a real Moog modular again.

  2. This would be awesome! I would so buy.
I keep hoping I am going to see someone to offer a retro-fit service for the moogerfoogers into a format mentioned above. Flat face, rack mountable, with the CV jacks on the front.
