RIP Jürgen Haible

This is horrible news. I heard about it this morning on the electro-music.com forum. I sent email to the SDIY list for confirmation there as well but have not heard back. The news has spread. Apologies for not getting this post up earlier, but I wanted it on top of the morning's posts, and I wanted confirmation. He was only 47 years old.

For those not familiar with Jurgen Haible, you can find his work here: http://www.jhaible.de/ as well as the JH label below. He is without a doubt one of the most respected and influential synth DIYers in our world of synths. His contributions to the community are enormous. He will be sorely missed. Sincere condolences to all his friends and family.

RIP Jürgen. Thanks for everything. Your memory and creations will live on.

Update: a look back on some of JH's work featured here on MATRIXSYNTH through various members of the synth community: http://m.matrixsynth.com/search/label/JH
