Mattson Mini Modular SQ16 Sequencer

via Mattson Mini Modular on Facebook

"I've been quiet for a while. I decided to dive into the MMM sequencer. Ran into problems with discreet logic so, tossed all of the gates and went with a PIC. Which adds a lot more tricks. Including: Quantizing, 8 or 16 stage mode, Ping Pong and Random modes, etc, etc, etc.
Plus, the ability to do software upgrades via a USB port. Just grab the new version on your computer and connect the two.
I'll also be designing an expansion module to compliment it that will provide 16 jacks for individual stage gate outputs and a MIDI output so that the programmed sequence can be recorded on a MIDI recorder.

I also swapped a couple of panel controls around and, had to add something to fill the last (56th) hole position. I guess that's more functional than my logo....

And, I renamed it to the SQ816 instead of the SQ1.

Here's a JPG of the new layout design. I grayed out the black to help with readability on the pic and put grid lables. Mostly, so I can keep track of what is where."
