"While you were Asleep" - Quad ESQ's meet the EMW WCS-1

Published on Oct 16, 2012 by TimeSynthis

"Recorded early in the morning hours, just one take, no overdubs. An electronic piece called "While you were Asleep". Just got this rack reconfigured, and for this piece, I'm playing four ESQ's with the VCO Analog EMW WCS-1 (the Wave Composition Synthesizer by Electronic Music Works). The ESQs have quad mono outputs, and one mono output from the EMW is the lead mono voice. Sit back and enjoy. First you'll hear some ESQ VCF sweeps. Then in a middle section, doing some sweeps on both an ESQ patch and the EMW. No effects added until the last slow section, I unclicked the bypass on the Lexicon MX300 to add some spatial effect. The EMW has much less effect treatment than the ESQ's here. I hope you like it."
