SunVox Tutorial Part 5 - Drumsynth and Patterns & Part 6

YouTube Uploaded by SolarLuneTube on Sep 7, 2011
All parts here.
"SunVox Tutorial Part 5 goes into the new DrumSynth module, as well as how to play more than one instrument at a time."

SunVox Tutorial Part 6 - Multisynth

Uploaded by SolarLuneTube on Sep 7, 2011

"SunVox Tutorial Part 6 speaks on using Multi-synths to trigger more than one module at a time. Very useful for more complex sounds. I notice that I completely glossed over the Multisynth's Velocity parameter - that controls how loudly the attached generators are played.

Sky Highway (SunVox)

YouTube Published on Jun 2, 2012 by SolarLuneTube

"Sorry for not posting any videos recently. I'm still progressing on my projects (like Soldier Of), which you can see for yourself by to following me on Twitter.

So, this is a song that I made in SunVox, just for fun (not for a game's OST). I tried to keep it 'old-school', with a 'traditional tracker flow', using a single pattern at a time. It's definitely interesting to try out.

You can listen in perfect quality or download this -for free- from my SoundCloud page at:

Also, to stay up with development progress, follow me on Twitter at:

Oh, and this vid was recorded with KRUT, which is pretty nice for an open-source cross-platform screen recorder. :)

Driving Force (WIP)

YouTube Published on Jul 19, 2012 by SolarLuneTube

"A WIP of (another, I guess, ha) electronic, chiptune-influenced dance song that I made in SunVox. It's turning out better than I thought. A huge thanks to "organic io" of the SunVox forums for finding the extremely useful, high-quality sample pack that I like to use in my songs now. They really do boost the quality (to me, at least). Check it out:

http://www.warmplace.ru/forum/viewtopic.php?p=6643#p6643

Not much else to say, I guess. Sorry for not putting up more tutorial / devlog videos. I'll keep up development, both on tutorials and my personal projects.

Follow me on Twitter to catch more game / resource development as it happens.

P.S. I can't believe I have over 590 subscribers! Thanks a lot for following and watching my videos, as well. I really appreciate it, and just watching my videos with ads enabled helps to fund development a little bit. Of course, I understand if you disable them. :)

EDIT: Oh, and you can hear it in a bit better quality (maybe) on the SoundCloud page for it:

SunVox Tutorial #13 - Sample Looping

YouTube Published on May 10, 2012 by SolarLuneTube

"A quickie tutorial into looping samples that you put into the Sampler module. If you think that this tutorial's not very informative, please comment - I can re-record it. Otherwise, it can stay up.

There are a lot of good samples available over the Internet; one good page to find a lot of them is at Chipmusic.org:
http://chipmusic.org/forums/topic/136/tracker-food-samples/
As well as the SunVox forums:

SunVox Tutorial Part 7 - Sampler Modules

YouTube Uploaded by SolarLuneTube on Sep 27, 2011
All parts here.
"Part 7 of the tutorial series on how to use SunVox. This one talks about using the Sampler to play back a drum loop, and time-stretch it to fit the song's tempo.

P.S. Sorry about the audio quality and skipping - if anyone has any suggestions for help in this regard, I'll be glad to hear them."

SunVox Tutorial 14 - Sampler Retriggering / Scaling

YouTube Published on Sep 1, 2012 by SolarLuneTube

"This SunVox tutorial talks about retriggering samples to scale them to a song. When you scale samples to a song, you can do a lot, chaning their pitch, or even directly controlling how the samples play. It's pretty fun to do.

Thanks for watching my tutorials and subscribing, by the way. Your comments are appreciated as well.

electronic all around ~ SunVox track

Note: Auction links are affiliate links for which the site may be compensated.
YouTube Published on May 14, 2012 by SolarLuneTube

"A finished version of a WIP that I posted on SoundCloud awhile back. I'm pretty happy with how it turned out. As always, this was entirely made in SunVox. It could be better, but it could be a lot worse, as well. :)

If you want to purchase it for $1 or more, or just listen to it in perfect quality, head over to my BandCamp page: http://solarlune.bandcamp.com/track/electronic-all-around

Is $1 too high? Leave some feedback!

P.S. I recently did a collaboration with Timmy Crowne and made a dubstep remix to Adele's Set Fire to the Rain. Please check it out and subscribe to his channel: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=VFH8fKXZWmA"
